Greeves Child and Family Counseling, LLC and A Piece of Mind, LLC are pleased to announce our first series of "Let's Stick Together" Groups. Our mission is to provide a structured, intensive social skills group for children with Autism and Developmental Delays while simultaneously providing support for siblings of these children. Therapists in the social skills group will focus on children's social needs through targeted interactions with other children and adults. In addition, group games and circle time will focus on taking turns, listening to others, and general participation in a group. Child counselors will lead the siblings as they explore, identify and discuss their feelings relating to their roles within the family. These children have unique needs and in this setting will be able to tell their stories and be listened to and supported by others.

The group will have six Saturday morning meetings starting in January 2008 on Capitol Hill. $140 includes your child and one sibling. Additional siblings may join a group for $30 per child.

Deadline to register is December 14th.

Screenings will be held in early January. This will be your chance to meet the therapists who will be working with your children to learn more about the group sessions and to see if your children are a good match for the groups.
